100 cm / 39.4 Inches is the most common size; it fits for approx. 3-5 eyelets.
120 cm / 47.2 Inches is best suited for shoes with approx. 5-8 eyelets.

Check how long and wide the distance between the eyelets is because this is also important to find the correct length for your laces. If the eyelets are very close together, you need shorter laces, i.e., a 100 cm / 39.4-inch length is sufficient for six or more eyelets.

In any case, 100 cm / 39.4 inches are sufficient for children's shoes.
